Dr. Robert Wertz Jr.
I have wanted to be an Orthodontist since I was six years old and took over my father’s practice which was started over 40 years ago! I truly enjoy creating spectacular smiles in the same town I was born and raised in. I love orthodontics as it allows me to closely interact with patients and accommodate their individual orthodontic needs. I take great pride in helping improve my patient’s smile and self-esteem, it’s incredibly rewarding!
For my formal education, I attained the following degrees:
- BS, Mount St. Mary’s University
- DMD, Temple University
- MS, Oral Biology Temple University
- Orthodontic Certificate, Temple University
Although my formal education is complete, I continuously attend courses and seminars in the Orthodontics. This allows me to provide the newest and most innovative orthodontic treatments to my patients. I really enjoy learning how to make things better for my patients! Orthodontics can be challenging as each patient has unique orthodontic needs, no two patients are alike. I truly enjoy customizing treatments to fit the needs of each patient while making personal connections with them at the same time.
My wife Lindsay and I live in Lebanon with our sweet dog, Maisie and our three rescue cats! We enjoy traveling as well as watching and going to all types of sporting events. I enjoy going to Hershey Bears hockey games and watching the Phillies. I am a huge Eagles fan, which causes some family tension as my wife is a huge Cowboys fan!

I joined the Wertz Orthodontics in 2016 and enjoy working with our referring dentists and doing community outreach. I have been in medical sales and marketing my entire professional career. It’s what I LOVE! I run all of the marketing programs, contests, advertising and social media for the office! I am also bilingual being fluent in English as well as Spanish. When I’m not in the office, I devote all my time to my family. I log many hours in my mini-van, transporting my three sons to soccer, baseball and swimming just to name a few! My true heartfelt passion is advocating at the state and national level for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a rare disease that afflicts my youngest son. I live in South Lebanon with my husband Gordon and three sons!

I’m the newest face at Wertz Orthodontics but I’m not new to dentistry. I have been in the dental field for over 13 years and I am an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA). I really enjoy learning about orthodontics, helping our patients and educating them on their treatment process. It’s a joy to watch their smiles transform! On a personal note, I was a patient of Dr. Wertz Sr. and now my son is a patient here as well. Outside of work, my family and I enjoy the outdoors and love exploring nature. I live in Rexmont with my husband and two children!

I have worked in orthodontics all of my life! I have various responsibilities including ordering and organizing inventory for our three offices. Orthodontics is my passion! I love working with our patients and helping the Doctor create their “spectacular smile”. My husband Danny and I enjoy spending our free time with our two beautiful daughters. We very much enjoy spending time with our beautiful granddaughters!

I enjoy my work at Wertz Orthodontics and have been working here for over 10 years! I was also a patient of Dr. Wertz Sr. when I was in middle school. I continue to learn a lot from the doctor and I appreciate the level of respect and humor they bring to all our patients. My favorite part of my job is seeing the transition from beginning to the end for our patients. When I’m not at the office, my husband Michael & I enjoy spending time with our family. I enjoy watching the Phillies and Eagles and also enjoy the sport of target shooting.

I have been in the orthodontic field for 41 years and have been at Wertz Orthodontics for over 15 years! I really enjoy working with our patients. I like working independently and taking our patients from start to finish in their orthodontic care. I appreciate the atmosphere of our office, which is laid back, low key and fun. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren!
